Iron sintered bushes are self-lubricating, porous bearings engineered through a precisely controlled powder metallurgy process. Manufactured using iron-based material as per IS: 3980 : 1982, these bushes undergo a four-stage production sequence namely forming (compacting), sintering, sizing and oil impregnation which gives them their characteristic strength and long-lasting lubrication capability. The oil retained within their porous structure releases continuously during operation, reducing the need for external lubrication in most working conditions.
